Our History

Anders Dad was a park ranger. Anders and his family would visit him in the Badlands each summer.

Now Anders is grown and has a family of his own. We also enjoy the Badlands of South Dakota, especially the no reservation campground where the bison hang out. Some of our favorite moments as a family are in National Parks. As of Summer 2026, we have been to 18 as a family! And hope to continue to grow that number.

Our business is always evolving. Our journey began with knitting hats and mittens for kids. From there it evolved into pallet art of all shapes and sizes, primarily U.S. states. Moving then into scroll sawn hand painted magnets we really found our niche. Our demand grew, as did our company when we added a laser cutter. Today, most of our sales are 4” state shaped magnets and ornaments. We create art that captures the spirit of the outdoors in a compact, accessible format. Many of those options include hiking, biking, sunsets, skylines, flowers, even sasquatch. It’s the collaboration with people and shops along the way that have shaped our business into what it is today. Unique requests have forced us to stretch our skills and our brand to new heights.

In 2025, we introduced our Arrowhead National Park Badge Collection—a series inspired by our own visits to parks across the country. Each design begins with Anders researching a National Park, understanding the points of interest, and sketching concepts digitally. Once the design is finalized, Anders stains the boards, laser cuts each component, and our family assembles every piece by hand. Each item is touched at least seven times before it’s finished, stamped, and ready to be enjoyed. Nothing comes from pre‑made files or downloads—every design is imagined, drawn, and built in‑house.

We are excited to continue to explore the natural world and create amazing art for all of you! Please continue to join us along this journey of life.
